Page 1 of 2  David Rippon is Director of the University of London Computer Centre(ULCC) and chairs the expert panel. As Director of ULCC he is responsible for the provision of highly cost effective IT services to the University of London and a range of public and private sector organisations. David Rippon talks about LeadSure and ULCC The IT services provided by ULCC include co-location and managed hosting, network connectivity and management, web development and hosting, e-mail and domain name management, digital preservation and archiving, e-repository and document management systems, IT infrastructure management, virtual learning environment development and hosting, I.S./I.T. consultancy and development, remote data back up and disaster recovery. David has worked in IT for over 30 years, 15 of which have been spent as I.T. Director in two major businesses, Land Securities (a UK FTSE 100 plc) and Massey-Ferguson. As the head of IT in these organisations he has been responsible for the successful implementation of several multi million pound projects. David has also established a Research Centre into Applied Computing as Professor of IT Infrastructure Management at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College. David is a Fellow of the British Computer Society and frequently speaks at and chairs major IT conferences. |
