 Dell plans to join rivals in entering an emerging market for low-price notebook computers.An official at Compal Electronics Inc., a Taiwan-based company that assembles laptops for other companies, said Dell would launch a new low-cost product built by Compal as early as June. A Dell spokeswoman confirmed the company's plans to enter the field. |
