If your business is anything like mine you attempt to grow and develop your business in a nice steady curve. I want to increase sales by 15% each quarter, identify trigger points for employing staff and expand my current infrastructure accordingly. I want to have a surplus in my revenue to explore new avenues of business and see my profits rise.
This is something I think we all want. However the reality is often quite different. We struggle through our daily lives feeling under resourced and wondering how we will make our targets for the next quarter. A period of calm in sales and my thoughts go towards how do I make all this work?
Where is our feel good factor?
Without this we feel lost, many businesses are looking at ways to make savings and cut overheads.
In this recent credit crunch I have spoken to several businesses and they are all worried. They are not yet shedding staff, they are waiting for what will happen next. Business is stagnating under the worries of the world market this stagnation is actually adding to the problem. Nobody is doing anything and then it just gets worse.
Then seemingly out of the blue we get the “Three Bus scenario”. Everybody orders at the same time, our businesses are flooded with orders and we wonder how can we keep up! This is the topsy turvy world of small business, feast and famine. We need to keep our heads in this climate and know that our products and services are as good as they have ever been. Now is the time to market our services to nudge our prospects into purchases in between our infrequent bus service.
If we can do this then we will never actually solve the problem of the “Three buses” but we can do much to save our worries.
At LeadSure we offer a range of cost effective e-marketing options which are much cheaper than you might think. Why not talk to us? It is better than waiting for a bus!
